Welcome to International Hair School! We are delighted to have you as a student, and we hope that you will find our programs informative, engaging, and rewarding. In order to ensure that all students are able to benefit from our courses in a safe and respectful environment, we ask that you please review and abide by the following terms and conditions:
- Enrollment: By enrolling in one of our courses, you agree to abide by all school policies, rules, and regulations. You must also provide accurate and up-to-date information about yourself, including your name, address, and contact information.
- Payment: Payment for each course is due in full before the course begins. We accept various payment methods, including credit card, bank transfer, or cash. If you need to cancel or reschedule your course, please let us know as soon as possible. We offer refunds in accordance with our cancellation policy.
- Attendance: Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes and arrive on time. If you are unable to attend a class, please notify us as soon as possible. Excessive absences or tardiness may result in dismissal from the program.
- Conduct: All students are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner at all times. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal from the program.
- Coursework: Students are expected to complete all assigned coursework and submit it on time. Plagiarism or academic dishonesty will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal from the program.
- Safety: Students are responsible for maintaining a safe and clean learning environment. Please report any safety hazards or concerns to school staff immediately.
- Equipment: Students are responsible for providing their own equipment, such as scissors, combs, and other hairdressing tools. We will provide guidance on the appropriate equipment and tools needed for each course.
- Liability: International Hair School is not responsible for any injuries or accidents that may occur during the course of a class. Students are responsible for their own safety and should take appropriate precautions when using equipment and tools.
- Photographs: We may take photographs or videos of students during class for promotional or educational purposes. By enrolling in our program, you consent to the use of these photographs or videos.
- Cancellation Policy:
If a student wishes to cancel their enrollment in a course at International Hair School, they must submit a written request for a refund to the school administration. The following policies will apply:
- Refunds for hours not attended: Students may be eligible for a refund for hours not attended at the same hourly rate as specified in the original contract.
- Attendance: Hours in which a course was held, but the student was absent, do not qualify as hours not attended or refundable.
- Return of kit: If a student decides to withdraw from a course, they must return the kit in the same condition as received, or pay for its full value.
- No refunds will be granted to students who:
a. Have been expelled from the course due to a breach of the contract.
b. b. Have exceeded the duration of the course.
Students who wish to cancel their enrollment and request a refund for hours not attended may be eligible for a refund at the same hourly rate as specified in the original contract. However, the refund amount will depend on when the cancellation request is received.
If the request is received within the first two weeks of the month, a prorated amount based on the hours not attended up to that point will be refunded. If the request is received after the first two weeks of the month, a refund can still be given, but it will not include any portion of the current month. Any refund amount will be credited towards future months for which the student has already paid in advance.
For example, if a student paid for a three-month course and requests a refund after the first month, they will only be refunded for the second and third month, but not for the current month. If the request is received during the first two weeks of the second month, the refund will be prorated based on the hours not attended up to that point.
We encourage students to attend all scheduled classes to get the full benefit of their courses. However, we understand that sometimes circumstances arise that require a student to withdraw from a course. In such cases, we will do our best to work with the student to ensure a fair and reasonable refund. Please note that any fees associated with the original payment or refund may be deducted from the refunded amount.
We encourage students to communicate with the administration as soon as possible if they are considering cancelling their enrollment. If a cancellation request is approved, the school will refund the appropriate amount within 30 days of the request.
